Privacy Policy.

Effective: 14 June 2026 · Compliant with Canada’s PIPEDA and Quebec’s Loi 25.

01. Who We Are

Phoenix Global LDC™ (“Phoenix Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Quebec-based commercial supplier of industrial packaging consumables. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website (the “Site”) and our commercial operations.

This policy is aligned with two Canadian frameworks that apply to our activities:

  • PIPEDA — the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, applicable to commercial activity across Canada.
  • Loi 25 — Quebec’s modernized provincial private-sector privacy law (An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information), applicable to personal information collected, held, used, or communicated in Quebec.

02. Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our products, services, and quotations. Categories include:

  • Identification & contact information — name, business email, business phone, company name, role, and shipping/dispatch addresses you provide via inquiry forms, quote requests, or order processes.
  • Operational information — the product or SKU you inquired about, your estimated monthly pallet volume, lane and freight requirements, and similar commercial-fit details you choose to share.
  • Transactional information — order history, invoices, payment status, and shipping records, retained for accounting, warranty, and regulatory purposes.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and analytics scripts for security and Site improvement.

Sensitive information. We do not knowingly collect health, biometric, or other particularly sensitive personal information through the Site. If a customer relationship requires such information for a specific commercial purpose, we will request your express, separate consent at that time.

03. Why We Collect It (Purposes)

We use personal information only for purposes you would reasonably expect from a commercial supplier relationship, namely:

  • To respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, and fulfill orders.
  • To coordinate freight, dispatch, and delivery with carriers.
  • To manage accounting, invoicing, and regulatory record-keeping obligations.
  • To send operational notifications about your orders or account.
  • To improve the Site, monitor performance, and protect against fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with our legal obligations under Canadian and Quebec law.

We will not use your personal information for new or materially different purposes without first informing you and, where required, obtaining your consent.

04. Consent

Where required by PIPEDA or Loi 25, we obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information. By submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you provide consent to the collection and use described in this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice — see Section 9.

4.1  Electronic communications — email & SMS (CASL). We use the email address and phone number you provide for two distinct categories of message:

  • Transactional / service messages — order confirmations, shipping and tracking updates, quotes, and account or support notices. These relate directly to a transaction or relationship you have initiated and are sent by email and, where you have provided a mobile number, by SMS.
  • Marketing / promotional messages — product news, restock alerts, and offers. We send these only with your express consent, obtained through an unchecked opt-in (for example, the consent checkbox on our Contact page or at checkout). Marketing consent is never a condition of any purchase.

SMS program. If you opt in, Phoenix Global LDC sends recurring automated text messages from our toll-free number (888) 897-6768. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance; you may also contact us directly. Opting out of SMS does not affect transactional email or your ability to purchase. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Withdrawing consent. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and every SMS honours STOP. In accordance with CASL and Loi 25, each commercial electronic message identifies Phoenix Global LDC and provides a functioning way to withdraw consent, which we action promptly.

05. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers we engage to operate our business — for example, freight carriers, payment processors, accounting services, hosting providers, and analytics platforms. Service providers are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations consistent with PIPEDA and Loi 25.
  • Legal & regulatory disclosure — where required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful governmental request.
  • Corporate transactions — in the context of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and equivalent privacy commitments.

06. Cross-Border Transfers

Some of our service providers (for example, our e-commerce platform, hosting, and analytics) operate or store data outside Quebec, including in other Canadian provinces and in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside Quebec, we conduct a privacy-impact assessment as required under Loi 25 and put in place contractual protections so the data continues to receive a level of protection equivalent to that required under Quebec law.

07. Cookies & Analytics

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate basic functionality (such as cart and session handling), measure performance, and improve user experience. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; doing so may impair certain Site features. Where required, we display a banner to obtain your consent before deploying non-essential analytics or marketing cookies.

08. Retention & Destruction

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law (for example, tax, accounting, and warranty obligations). When personal information is no longer necessary for the purposes identified, we destroy, anonymize, or securely return it in accordance with our internal retention schedule.

09. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and Loi 25, you have the right, subject to legal exceptions, to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Withdraw consent for future use or disclosure, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
  • Request information on the categories of personal information held, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed.
  • Data portability — receive the computerized personal information you provided in a structured, commonly used technological format (Loi 25 right effective September 2024).
  • De-indexation — request, in specific circumstances permitted by Loi 25, that we cease the diffusion of your personal information or de-index a hyperlink that allows it to be located by name.
  • Complain to our Privacy Officer (Section 11) or to the relevant regulator: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (PIPEDA) or the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (Loi 25).

10. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, use, modification, or disclosure. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where applicable, and affected individuals, as required by Loi 25 and PIPEDA.

11. Privacy Officer & Contact

As required by Loi 25, Phoenix Global has designated a Privacy Officer responsible for ensuring compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. To exercise any of the rights above, to ask questions about this Privacy Policy, or to file a privacy complaint, please contact us via the Contact page, addressed to the attention of the Privacy Officer.

12. Children

The Site is directed at commercial procurement professionals and is not intended for individuals under the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

Phoenix Global may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. The current version is always posted at this URL with an effective date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means, including notice on the Site.
